The PromoCatch standard
Beauty should be easier to trust.
We edit the noise out of personal care, so the details that matter have room to speak.
Our point of view
A small catalog, held to a high bar.
PromoCatch began with one simple frustration: too many product pages make it hard to find the information you need. We choose formulas for clear ingredients, useful performance and an experience that feels good to repeat.
Our products are fictional catalog examples for this shopping experience, but the standard is real: transparent details, considered packaging and no inflated promises.
How we verify
Four questions before a product gets listed.
If the answer to any of these is unclear, the formula stays off the shelf. No exceptions for a pretty bottle.
Can the ingredients be understood?
Full lists, no proprietary blends. If we cannot explain an ingredient in plain language, it does not get listed.
Does the formula respect the barrier?
We review irritation risk and require honest skin-type guidance. Comfort is a listing requirement, not a marketing line.
Is the sourcing cruelty-free?
No animal testing at any stage of formulation or production. We ask for the same standard from every formula we host.
Is the packaging considered?
Refillable, recyclable or reduced-waste packaging is required. A beautiful box that cannot be reused does not pass.
How a formula earns its place
From botanical to listing — never the other way around.
We start with ingredients you can recognize, then ask whether the evidence, the barrier and the packaging hold up. Marketing copy is the last thing we read, not the first.

01
Ingredient audit
Every INCI name is checked for function, concentration sense and whether it can be explained without jargon.
-
02
Barrier & skin-type review
Formulas are reviewed for irritation risk. Skin-type and usage notes have to be specific enough to be useful.
-
03
Sourcing & packaging pass
Cruelty-free confirmation and considered packaging are required before a product is allowed into the catalog.
